Interview with our Co-founder Kim Polman and Jeremy Gilley, founder of Peace One Day

This year, Peace One Day made a film with our co-Founder, Kim Polman, to discuss the concept of the Golden Rule and what is means to ‘treat others and the planet as you wish to be treated’.

Reboot the Future are huge fans of Peace One Day, an organisation founded in 1999 by Jeremy Gilley with the desire for there to be one single day when all countries vow not to wage war.

In 2001, the United Nations unanimously adopted the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on 21 September – Peace Day. Since then, Peace Day has run annually, reaching over 2 billion people, and is a inspiring example of how global change can start with one person’s idea and then grow.
